Now your unit will have 3 layers of different filtering allowing for the ulimate in protection for your engine while also offering the most breathability.All in this affordable high performance filter.

One of the biggest problems with the comon stock filters found on 1/5 scales is that the have a large amount of area where the filter meets flat plastic. This is a problem because anytime you have a filtering surface against a flat spot there is a good chance dirt and debri will sneak into this area. This is why for years motorcross guys (and experienced R/C guys) have ran grease between these areas. A exlcusive feature found on the DT1 filters is a special neopreme material in this area calledSuper Seal. When the Super Seal is oiled it becomes super sticky and forms a seal between the foam and flat plastic areas.
