When binding, the light on the receiver will go from a fast flash to a slow flash once bound until you disconnect the bind cable and repower all the equipment.

This was for binding to a GT3B-

Everything power off.

1. Bind cable in battery/bind port (one nearest led light)
2. Battery then in channel one (light flashes fast)
3. Hold bind on transmitter and while holding power on transmitter (receiver light flashes slow)
4. Turn off transmitter, remove battery from receiver, then remove bind cable.
5. Power back on transmitter
6. Put battery back in battery/bind port (light on solid)

All up and running.
