Very good delivery boxs Very good nice remote car
realy nice car fast and packed full of fun realy helpfull support too cant fault this seller in any way RCMODELZ rocks
Purchase was straightforward & quick delivery. Only minor issue was retailer never responded to me re a wrong sized bolt on the window upgrade I purchased but I resolved this myself. In terms of the car, you’ll definitely want to go over all the bolts/screws & apply strong thread lock, these come out of the factory with none, this will reduce the risk of any down time early on. Other than that, out of the box this is a brilliant entry level petrol rc to run & then upgrade as things inevitably break. Run in is easy, 2 tanks idle 10 mins, 2 tanks easy on the throttle & then just take it easy initially. I haven’t needed to use choke to start or fiddle with any of the needles. This car is big & loud, louder than I thought. Luckily I have fields near me as running in parks you will attract attention & not everyone is going to enjoy the serenity being broken! Consider if you don’t have open areas close by, to run this it’s not something you can carry long distances or easily in a carry bag & needing a car to transport, you will get the petrol smell! This car is quick so as a noob I’m taking time to get used to how it handles & the kill switch has been fitted, I would not run this with lots of people around as 40mph plus the weight means any collision is better with inanimate objects (best avoided at all but...). All in all, if you’re on fence, I can throughly recommend this car - for me it’s been less fiddly than nitro, the petrol/2 stroke mix is a doddle, you get great run time (30 minutes plus on a tank), it’s loud which adds to the fun & so far, I’ve had no issues around “inferior quality”. I think if you run conservatively, it will be a while before anything fails, but who wants conservative over fun!
Have not run engine in fully yet. I'm sure once run in it's an absolute beast. Very fast, easily controlled, loud, best boys toy ever.
This is a great buggy, looks really nice and has a very nice sound, very fast and very fun. But I will say that you might want to upgrade the transmitter and reciever to a better quality one as I have had nothing but problems with them. But apart from that the buggy is great.
This car is incredible, easy to set up out of the box.
Still running the engine in, but at 1/4 and 1/2 throttle burst she certainly flies off the mark. Would highly recommend this to anyone and my brother is now looking at getting one
a1 fast and reliable and good on fuel
This buggy is so much fun and surprisingly Fast well worth money and looks good and has desent parts fitted would Highley recommend getting this 1/5th scale rc.
Wow! I took mine out yesterday, It started up very easily, but when it set off.. simply took my breathe away, blisteringly fast and this is only 29cc! It looks mean 7 Beefy and it is! This car can be easily overlooked because its the cheapest one. Its the cheapest beast I've ever seen.
Q: What's the difference between RTR, ARTR, ROLLER and Build Kits?
A: Although this can change between Brands the general terms for these are as follows:
RTR - Ready To Run (Car comes assembled and everything is included for you to run the car however setup is still required and Transmitter Batteries may be required.)
ARTR - Almost Ready To Run (Car can come either assembled or partly assembled. Accessories are Required to complete and get the car up and running.)
ROLLER - A Roller or Rolling Chassis (Car comes assembled, without Engine or Electronics. Accessories are needed to complete this car. Setup is required.)
Build Kits - These come Unassembled, Accessories may be needed to complete (these will be listed in the description of the products). Paint can be required
Q: Can I just bash these cars straight away?
A: No, these are advanced models, they require setting up, checking over and you will be required to perform regular maintenance on them, such as but not limited to thread-locking and tightening bolts, cleaning and protecting bearings and changing and topping up shock/ diff oils. If you do not want to learn this part of the hobby we recommend purchasing a model with a smoother learning curve.
Q: What is an easy pull-start?
A: An Easy Pullstarter uses a different mechanism to the standard pull starts, they are spring-loaded and do not require as much of a pull to start the engine. If you pull the easy pull starter too hard especially whilst your engine is flooded you can break the internals and you will need to purchase a new pull-start.
Note: Please check the description of the car you have as an easy pull start and standard pull-start are not compatible with each other however as with the easy start pulling the standard pull-start too hard or whilst your engine is flooded(increased compression) will break your pull-start.
